LEHIGHTON — In Carbon County two people have been arrested in connection with a theft ring that spans five states.
Police said Jamal Mitchel and Donte Shaw, both of Philadelphia, were involved in a robbery earlier this week at Walmart in Lehighton.
Three others were caught a short time later.
Officers believe the suspects are involved in a nearly $200,000 retail theft ring at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.
