Brother and Sister Face Drug Charges

A brother and sister in Monroe County face drug charges after police said they found marijuana in their apartment.

Investigators said officers got a search warrant for the apartment of Michael and Elizabeth Russell after an officer bought marijuana from a man known as “Flo.”

During the search, police said they found marijuana, packing materials, cell phones and cash in the apartment, including money that police had marked for the drug buy.

Police identified “Flo” as Michael Russell. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and related crimes. He is free on bail.

Russell’s sister, Elizabeth, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
