WILKES-BARRE -- A mother who pleaded guilty to corruption of minors and child endangerment in her baby's death received her sentence Monday in Luzerne County court.
Tracey Gonda was sentenced to up to five years in prison.
She admitted to corruption of minors in September.
Police say her two and a half month old baby Jaxon died, in part, because he was trapped inside a reclining chair in a home in Nanticoke last year.
Corey Eckrote, the baby's father, was found guilty earlier this month of involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment.
