MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP -- A teenager was killed in a crash in Lycoming County Sunday afternoon.
According to the coroner, Jordan Emert, 18, of Trout Run died.
Authorities say she was driving south on Route 287 near Salladasburg around 3:30 p.m. when she lost control of her car and it rolled over.
The coroner says Emert was wearing her seatbelt at the time of that deadly crash.
The victim’s friends tell Newswatch 16 Emert had just left her home after celebrating her 18th birthday.
