LOWER TOWAMENSING TOWNSHIP -- For the fourth time in 12 years, a Christmas tree at the White House will come from Crystal Springs Tree Farm in Carbon County.

The owner learned over the weekend that he won the National Tree Association's contest.

He says the news couldn't have come at a better time.

"It just so happened that this is our 50th anniversary. My parents started Crystal Springs Tree Farm in 1964, and it just it is a special year for us," said Chris Botek.

The farm supplied the White House tree in 2013.

White House officials will visit the farm in Carbon County sometime late September to select a tree for the Blue Room.
