Police: Man Fired Shots Because of Drug Deal Gone Wrong

SCRANTON -- Scranton police arrested a man who officers believe fired several shots just before midnight on Wednesday.

Officers cuffed James Williams, 21, from Throop on Thursday.

Investigators said he fired shots at another man during a drug deal along North Main Avenue.  The other man was not hit by the gun fire.

Williams faces several assault charges.  Police said he is expected to be arraigned sometime Friday morning.

    Hope they lock him up for more than 5 whole minutes. So tired of hearing creepers like this roaming our towns. Way to go law enforcement for cracking down all around! The Gov should give you all a raise!
