Shots Fired in Scranton

SCRANTON -- Authorities in Scranton are searching for the person that fired shots early Thursday morning.

Police said it happened in the 400 block of North Main Avenue after the shots went off around midnight.

Officers tell Newswatch 16 they found a pellet gun in front of a restaurant but they also found bullet shells behind a nearby dollar store.

No one has been reported hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Scranton Police.
