WILKES-BARRE -- A man accused of shooting his friend gave up his right to a hearing Friday.
Brandon Switzer from Nanticoke was charged with involuntary manslaughter in June.
Switzer is accused of shooting Zachary Williams, 22, in the head at a home on North Sherman Street, while the two were playing with a gun.
People close to the victim say the two were good friends.
They also say Williams left behind a 1-year-old daughter.
Switzer is out on bail.
