Jury Selected in Murphy Case

SCRANTON — Testimony is slated for Wednesday in the assault trial of former State Representative Kevin Murphy.

Jury selection wrapped up Monday, with the jurors being sent home until Wednesday.

Murphy is accused of hitting his wife and her friend last summer.

A judge from another county is presiding over the trial in Lackawanna County.
