JACKSON TOWNSHIP — Two brothers accused of housing almost 200 dogs in their home near Benton in Columbia County have now mailed in a plea on two counts of animal cruelty, according to court records.
The dogs, mostly Chihuahuas, were taken to shelters across the area.
Thomas and Albert Ambrosia wrote “no contest” on the forms but signed the “guilty” line.
They are accused of animal cruelty after officers seized dogs from their home in July.
