Kurt's tracking some storms this evening

Nice weather expected tomorrow and Thursday

A cold front is passing over our region this evening and it's producing showers and some thunderstorms.  A few of these storms have packed quite a punch,  gusty winds, hail and downpours.  This led the NWS to issue several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for parts of NE and Central PA.  The good news, these showers and storms will taper off this evening, as cooler air takes slides in.  On a side note, we also tied the record high in Scranton today before the storms arrived, we hit a high of 86°, which tied the old record set back in 1942.

Tonight: Showers taper off, clearing and slightly cooler. Low 52.

Tomorrow: Lots of sunshine and warm temps. High 78.

Wed Night: Mostly clear and mild. Low 56.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and warm. High 76.

Friday: Mix sun and clouds. High 75.

Saturday: Breezy and cooler with spotty showers. High 65.

Sunday: Partly sunny with spotty showers. High 65.
