BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP -- A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday morning in Susquehanna County.
Officials said a plane had some engine trouble and was forced to land on Route 706 near Montrose around 3 a.m.
The pilot, who was headed to Buffalo, New York from New Jersey was taken to the hospital. The injuries did not seem to be serious.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the wreck. State police said Route 706 is closed at the intersection with Route 11 until crews can move the plane.
