STROUD TOWNSHIP -- A man from Monroe County is now charged with homicide in connection with the death of a woman whose body was discovered five years ago.
James Bidwell, 49, of Tobyhanna faces criminal homicide charges for the death of Kristen Wagner, 27.
The woman's body was found in June of 2011 hanging from a trailer in a junkyard owned by Bidwell in Stroud Township.
Her death was originally ruled a suicide, but investigators reopened the case in June 2014 and found Bidwell was having a relationship with the woman and both were abusing methamphetamine.
On July 26, a grand jury recommended homicide charges against Bidwell.
Bidwell is locked up in the Monroe County jail.
