MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP -- A resort in the Poconos that closed last year has been sold.
The former owners of Fernwood Hotel and Conference Center in Bushkill bought the property at a tax sale two weeks ago for $1,000.
At this point, they say there are no plans to reopen the resort in Monroe County.
