LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. — A woman is dead after a fire in Lycoming County.
State police say firefighters were called to the scene just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
When first responders arrived, they believed a woman was still in the home, but living conditions and the quick spreading flames prevented them from searching inside.
Once the fire was out, Shirley Puderbaugh, 76, was found dead inside.
The cause of the fire was ruled undetermined, but officials say a wood stove may have contributed to the fire in Lycoming County.
