WILKES-BARRE -- At Martz Group headquarters on Old River Road in Wilkes-Barre, officials unveiled a new logo on Thursday.
"It's quite a difference,” said Scott Henry, chairman. "The more I see it, the better I like it, and it just signifies that we're going forward into the future."
Martz is also rolling out 116 new coaches, which officials with Martz call the most modern fleet in the nation. Plus, the Diamond City-based transportation company has a new, luxury shuttle service.
“Years ago we had shuttles back in the '40s and then they disappeared and now they're coming back again because smaller groups are more the thing today than they were recently,” said Frank Henry.
A single round-trip ticket from Wilkes-Barre to New York on the bus will cost you about $88, but the luxury shuttle, which sits eight people, will cost about $500 for the whole group.
“That's not bad, that's cheaper than a round-trip ticket, sometimes, and you get to have it by yourself, you don't have to share it, it's a good thing,” said Aisha Pearson of Nanticoke.
