HAZLETON — A man is locked up after police say he assaulted a woman in her own home in Hazleton.
According to authorities, Earl Hunsinger, 40, is accused of breaking into a woman’s home on East Maple Street while she was asleep.
Officers say he threatened her with a knife and wouldn’t let her leave the house. She was eventually able to get away and call police.
Hunsinger is now behind bars in Luzerne County.
