Part of I-80 west in Luzerne County back open after crash

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. at mile marker 267 in the westbound lanes of I-80 in Luzerne County Monday night.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A crash has closed part of Interstate 80 in Luzerne County.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday in the westbound lanes at mile marker 267.

Drivers are urged to use Exit 273 (White Haven/Freeland) to follow the Orange Detour and then return to I-80 at Exit 262 (Mountain Top/Hazleton).

One lane of I-80 west reopened early Tuesday morning.
