LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Saturday is the first day of trout season in Pennsylvania, and lots of anglers were out fishing at Tobyhanna State Park in Monroe County.
Newswatch 16 found a couple of people fishing at the park in Coolbaugh Township.
The chilly temperatures and the choppy waters didn't make it ideal for fishermen.
"Catch a few, maybe catch two or three to eat tonight. That's it. I don't think I'll be out here more than a few hours," said Damian Dievliis, Danville.

Fishermen told Newswatch 16 opening day was rough because the water was so high, making it harder to reel in a big catch.
Trout season in Pennsylvania runs until Labor Day.
