In Wyoming County, borough leaders in one community met Friday night to talk about their troubled police department.
Laceyville is a borough of about 400 people. Newswatch 16 told you earlier this week about police chief, Scott Perry, who is accused of driving under the influence while on duty.
He is currently the only member of the borough police department.
Despite that, borough leaders met Friday night and decided not to take any action.
"The police department is still functional, we just don't have any officers right at the moment and the state police have been notified that we will need coverage from them right now," said Linda Sabatelle, Laceyville borough council president.
Back in June, another Laceyville officer was briefly suspended after he was photographed selling a semi-automatic weapon from his police cruiser, while on duty.
