WILKES-BARRE – People hit the pavement in Wilkes-Barre to raise awareness for suicide prevention.
The 9TH annual “Out of the Darkness” was held Sunday at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre.
More than 1,000 walkers attended this year’s event raising nearly $42,000.

The event was organized by the Greater Northeast PA Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
