LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Banty Rooster at Ard's Farm in Lewisburg serves up traditional fare with an eclectic flair! We stopped by to visit with owner and chef Justin Midkiff. In addition to his menu items made in house, Justin's pulled pork (smoked to perfection on site) is super popular.
Justin prepared several unique dishes created with his (just off the smoker) mouth watering pork!
First on the menu, Chef Midkiff served up a buttermilk pancake from scratch, covered with his freshly prepared smoky pulled pork, topped with a fried egg. He prepared a Banh mi sandwich piled sky high and loaded with flavor such as: a combination of his tangy pickled cabbage and hot honey.
He then prepared The Banty Rooster's smoky Pulled Pork Sandwich with house made sauce on a brioche bun.
In addition to their soda bar and candy store The Banty Rooster at Ard's Farm is a fun destination. As Ard's has been in business for over 25 years, people have certainly developed a few "Ard’s Farm favorites". Banty Rooster is no stranger to those favorites! (most of our staff has been here making them for years) Banty Rooster is thrilled to continue to offer all the fan favorites that people travel from all over for! From their delicious (made in-house) cornbread, to our famous hand-dipped chocolates and fresh ground peanut butter, these are the products people come back for again and again!
They also offer catering and host many fun filled events.
