SCRANTON, Pa. -- The Lackawanna County coroner says an 86-year-old man was hit and killed while crossing a busy intersection.
The coroner says Robert Coer, Scranton, was trying to cross North Keyser Avenue Friday morning.
A witness tells us he was halfway across when traffic began moving.
Coer was struck by a vehicle and thrown.
Police have not said whether the driver will face charges after the deadly wreck.
