DICKSON CITY, Pa. -- While many in the Poconos are dealing with no power, some in Lackawanna County are without water.

Crews continue to work on a broken main along the 500 block of Main Street in Dickson City. It broke around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to Pennsylvania American Water, it's a 16-inch main, and it continues to gush so much water it's filling the work site, making it tough for crews to fix it.

The company says homes and businesses in Dickson City, Peckville, Blakely, Eynon, and Archbald could experience no water, low pressure, or discolored water until repairs are made.

Main Street in Dickson City remains closed in the area of that broken main in Lackawanna County.

Nearby Johnson College is on a compressed schedule Wednesday, Nov. 4, because of it.
