PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A stretch of Route 6 is back open following a motorcycle crash in Pike County.
The wreck happened around 5:30 p.m. on Monday along the northeast side of Lake Wallenpaupack near Wallenpaupack Area High School.
That stretch of Route 6 right by the high school was closed in both directions in Pike County for several hours.
The Pike County Coroner tells Newswatch 16 he was not called the crash.
State police say the driver, Joseph Chiocchi, 26, of Hawley, was badly hurt.
Troopers believe Chiocchi was speeding during the crash in Pike County.
