No Tax Increase in Proposed Lackawanna County Budget

SCRANTON, Pa. — Property owners in Lackawanna County will not see a tax hike next year under the current proposal.

On Tuesday, county commissioners laid out their tentative spending plan for 2020 that does not include a tax increase.

A final budget will be approved later this year.
