DUNMORE, Pa. -- Police say the man wanted for holding up Fidelity Bank in Dunmore is now in custody.

On Monday, Dunmore police charged David Cunard of Scranton with robbery, terroristic threats, and receiving stolen property. According to police, Cunard admitted robbing the bank to support a drug habit.

Investigators released surveillance video of the holdup that happened around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Police say Cunard claimed he had a gun but did not show it.

Witnesses told police they saw him inside the bank earlier in the day. According to court documents, Cunard told investigators he was planning on robbing the place earlier but decided it was too crowded at the time.

Police say when Cunard returned, he got away with about $42 and then ran away towards Delaware Street in Dunmore.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly identified the bank as FNCB.
