BARRETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Police in the Poconos are investigating a bank robbery.
The holdup happened around 9 a.m. Thursday at the First Keystone Community Bank branch on Route 390 near Mountainhome.
Police said the robber was able to access a teller drawer, removing bundles of cash.
He took off on foot, running across Route 390 and onto Golf Drive.
The robber is described as heavy-set, approximately 6’ tall wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
Anyone who witnessed the event or has information is asked to call the Pocono Mountain Regional Police at 570-895-2400.
Investigators released security camera images of the robbery.
