Another nominee has been picked in a special election for mayor of Scranton.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Another nominee has been picked in a special election for mayor of Scranton.

Lackawanna County Republicans chose Charlie Spano as their nominee Tuesday night.

It comes after county Democrats already picked Christopher Cullen as their nominee.

The special election for Scranton mayor is on November 5, 2019.

    Charlie is a Scranton school district teacher.
    I’m sure that he will be pro union.
    As if the city’s unions haven’t hurt the city enough already.
    I’m not against unions, but the city has lost a lot of cases in the past.

    Ill tell you what Scranton needs!! Another Irish Democrat mayor!! If only we had ONE JUST ONE Irish DEMOCRAT mayor our city would be the NEW NYC!!! The GOP has ruined Scranton!!! They have run scranton for decades!!! ITS SICK!!!
