PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The seventh annual canal festival was held Saturday in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Historical Society hosts the festival which celebrates the history of the Delaware and Hudson Canal.
The canal took coal from northeastern Pennsylvania to New York City in the 1800s.
The festival featured demonstrations of the use of period tools, quilt making, and even some traditional Native American music.
