DURYEA, Pa. -- The power is back on after an early-morning crash in Luzerne County.

It happened right before 2 a.m. on Friday on Foote Avenue in Duryea.

Police say a car crashed into a pole, hit another car, and then caught fire.

The driver of that car made it out with minor injuries.

PP&L says about 1,200 homes lost power after that crash.

Around 6 a.m. on Friday, only 77 people were without power.

Foote Avenue reopened around 8 a.m. on Friday here in Luzerne County.
