WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- A retired Wilkes-Barre police officer accused of abusing his power to pressure women into sex acts remains free on bail.
Robert Collins was back in court on Thursday.
The prosecution asked the judge to increase his bail in light of new charges filed last month.
The defense argued the bail was fair since Collins never missed a court appearance.
A judge met both sides in the middle and changed Collins bail to $50,000 cash bail which he was able to pay.
He is scheduled to be back in court for a preliminary hearing in August in Luzerne County.
