EAST KEATING TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed by a falling tree in Clinton County during Saturday afternoon’s storms, state police said.
According to the Clinton County communications center, a group of kayakers got off the water in East Keating Township when a thunderstorm rolled through.
State police said Elmer Stoltzfus, 40, of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, was at a campsite with friends when the tree came down around 4 p.m., killing Stoltzfus.
Troopers have not said if anyone else was hurt.
