Man Dead Following Monroe County Motorcycle Crash

ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving was hit head-on.

The crash Friday evening happened between Silver Springs Boulevard and Greenzweig Road near Kunkletown.

The coroner tells Newswatch 16 the victim was Jeremy Schessler, 24 of Kunkletown.

The crash is under investigation in Monroe County.

    I used to ride motorcycles back in the day. Dogs, deer, gravel and woodchucks seemed to be the main hazards which were bad enough. Now today with cellphones? Nah, no way! Not much “freedom” in a coffin.
