CARBONDALE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A northeastern Pennsylvania delicacy was on the menu Saturday at a fundraiser in Lackawanna County.
The annual Soppressata Tasting Contest is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Meredith Hose Company near Carbondale.
The hose company hosts the annual event where people put their personal signature cured meats to the test.
Lackawanna County Sheriff Mark McAndrew and Newswatch 16's Scott Schaffer helped judge the competition.
