Former EMA Director Sentenced for Identity Theft

MONTROSE, Pa. — A former emergency management director will spend some time locked up in Susquehanna County.

Robert Thatcher, 32, of Hallstead will spend 45 days to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to identity theft last month.

Thatcher used a former county worker’s information to open credit card accounts.
