Flames Tear Through Apartment Building in Hazleton

HAZLETON, Pa. -- More than a dozen people need a new place to live after a fire in Hazleton.

The apartment building at the intersection of East Green and Cedar Streets burned around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The standard speaker newspaper reports 14 people lived there, and one of them had to be checked out at the hospital for breathing in smoke.

The place is now unlivable.

There is no cause yet of that fire in Hazleton.
