JERMYN, Pa. -- Smoke from a fire in Lackawanna County could be seen from miles away.
Firefighters were called to the home on Lincoln Avenue in Jermyn around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Neighbors noticed flames shooting from the back of the home and called for help.
A man who was inside at the time got out safely.
A state police fire marshal has been called in to look for the cause of the fire in Lackawanna County.
