Payless Begins Liquidation Sales

WYOMING, Pa. -- Sales started Sunday at Payless shoe stores around the country.

The company couldn't find a buyer.

It declared bankruptcy Friday, and announced plans to close more than 2,100 stores in the U.S.

It is the biggest closing by a single retail chain so far this year.

We found plenty of people looking for deals at the store on Wyoming Avenue in Wyoming on Sunday.
