GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Investigators know why a house went up in flames Sunday night in Columbia County.

According to the Greenwood Township fire chief, it started as a kitchen fire and it took off from there.

Viewer video shows the flames shooting from the home along Rohrsburg Road just outside of Millville.

Firefighters were called there around 8:30 Sunday night.

The Greenwood Township fire chief says the home was filled with smoke and flames when they arrived. A second-alarm quickly followed the first.

The home is believed to be a total loss.

No one was hurt.

The American Red Cross was here helping the victims of Sunday night's fire in Columbia County.

The chief didn't have an exact number of people who lost their home in Greenwood Township.
