Vigil Scheduled for Woman Missing 15 Years

Fifteen years ago on Feb. 11, a young woman went missing in Luzerne County. Her family believes she was murdered.

Phylicia Thomas was 22 years old when she went missing.

She left her Lake Township home on February 11, 2004 for a party and was never heard from again.

Her family and friends believe she was attacked and killed at that party in Hunlock Township and may be buried in that area.

Over the years, cadaver dogs and other search methods to try to find Thomas. Search dogs were brought in.

Her family and friends believe that several men were responsible for Phylicia's death and at least one of those men killed himself in prison.

A candlelight vigil is scheduled for around 6 p.m. Monday at Patriot Square in Nanticoke for Phylicia Thomas.

    still missing after all this time. there are some many back roads they could have looked at but didn’t. secluded roads that would have been known to the people at that party but the focus seemed to be only in the general area
