Vacant Home in Scranton Damaged by Flames

SCRANTON, Pa. -- Flames hit a home in Scranton Monday evening.

Crews responded to the 1100 block of Mulberry Street just before 5:30 p.m.

Officials think a person on the roof with a blow torch may have inadvertently started the fire.

The home is vacant.

There is minor damage, and a city fire inspector is investigating.
