WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- There is a warning out for drivers who take Interstate 81 in Luzerne County.
PennDOT has emergency bridge repairs scheduled Monday, January 7, starting at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The interstate will be down to one lane southbound between the Highland Park Boulevard exit (165) and the Mountain Top exit (168).
According to PennDOT, the left lane of Interstate 81 north between the West Hazleton/Conyngham exit (145) and the Interstate 80 Junction (150) will also be closed on Monday.
The emergency deck repairs on I-81 north are scheduled to last until 2 p.m. on Monday.
