Teen Dead After Skiing Accident in Carbon County

LOWER TOWAMENSING TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A teen from New Jersey died after falling at a ski resort in Carbon County.

The Carbon County coroner says Connor Golembiewski, 17, of Flemington, New Jersey, fell from a ski lift at Blue Mountain Ski Area near Palmerton on Tuesday and died at the hospital.

This is the third time in less than a year someone has died at Blue Mountain.

Last March, a snowboarder from New Jersey fell and later died, and in January of last year, a skier from Philadelphia collided with another skier and died.

Newswatch 16 has not heard back from Blue Mountain Ski Resort.
