NEWPORT TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A warrant is out for the arrest of a nurse who did not show up for sentencing for involuntary manslaughter in Luzerne County.
In September, Kelly Levandowski admitted neglecting a patient in her care.
Police say Levandowski failed to check on a patient at Guardian Elder Care near Nanticoke in 2013.
That patient pulled her tracheostomy tube out and died.
At the time, Levandowski was a supervising nurse at the facility.
