HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will soon be going to jail.

It's been two years since the Scranton native was convicted and sentenced for leaking grand jury information and lying about it.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court refused to hear Kane's appeal on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Montgomery County district attorney will ask a judge to revoke her bail putting her behind bars.

Kane has maintained her innocence.

She's been out on $75,000 bail since in October of 2016 when she was sentenced to 10 to 23 months in jail.

Kane may be given a date to report to jail or a judge could order her to report immediately to lockup.

Before the supreme court appeal, state superior court upheld her conviction.

Kane tells Newswatch 16 she has no comment.
