WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- An early-morning shooting in Wilkes-Barre is under investigation.
It happened on Coal Street around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
The victim told police a man tried to get money from her and then she heard a gunshot.
The woman ran away before realizing she had been shot.
She was taken to the hospital. There is no word on her condition.
