Wilkes-Barre Announces New Police Chief

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A city in Luzerne County will soon have a new police chief.

Wilkes-Barre Mayor Tony George will swear in Joseph Coffay as the new chief next week.

Coffay is replacing Chief Marcella Lendacky who announced her retirement back in April.

    Can we expect any positive changes or will it be business as usual? The elderly folks must be getting so sick and tired of living out their final years as shut-ins. Such a shame.
