STROUD TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A gas leak closed a section of Route 611 in Monroe County.
Fire officials say UGI had planned to fix a leak near Bartonsville Wednesday morning, but after digging it up, crews realized it was much bigger than they thought.
Workers at few nearby businesses were told they had to leave while repairs were made.
The road has since reopened.
