Crews Battling House Fire in Lackawanna County

ROARING BROOK TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Flames caused extensive damage to a home in Lackawanna County.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Roaring Brook Township near Daleville.

No one was home at the time.

Fire crews had to bring in water from a nearby pond, but the flames were so intense, firefighters were pulled out of the home and had to try and extinguish the blaze from the outside.

There is no word what caused the fire.
